The Hawk's Nest
The Hawk’s Nest is our beloved studio sanctuary.
A peaceful retreat overlooking the permaculture gardens and flower farm.
Designed with care and filled with natural light, the space offers a quiet place to rest, work and reconnect with the rhythms of the land. A two-minute walk brings you to fresh spring water for coffee and tea, with private hiking trails through Pisgah National Forest just a few minutes further.
Enhance your stay with unforgettable experiences. From bodywork sessions, reiki sound healing, horseback riding, permaculture tour or garden work day, make the most of. your farm stay while you are with us!
The Nest features a luxurious king bed for two, along with a queen pull-out sofa to accommodate additional guests. A modern sun-filled kitchen, spacious bathroom and dedicated workspace make it perfect for long weekends or extended stays.
You can explore photos and reviews on our Airbnb page but we always encourage guests to book directly with us when possible. It saves you a little money and helps support our small community business!

The Farmhouse
Tucked beside the gardens of Hawk & Hawthorne sits our five-bedroom farmhouse. A welcoming home base for life on the land.
The house features solar power, hot water, a spacious shared bathroom, and a large kitchen where many of our community meals, meetings and heart shares unfold. A generous pantry, thriving apothecary, wood-burning fireplace, music and movie room with a projector create cozy spaces to gather.
A wide wraparound porch looks out over the gardens and the quiet beauty of the valley.
The farmhouse occasionally hosts mid- and long-term residents who wish to live more closely with the land and the rhythms of community.
We are also seeking a values-aligned partner or investor to help steward the next chapter of the home.
